Steve Mayzak is Vice President, Global Solution Engineering at Grafana Labs. He is a builder of pre-sales teams having previously built the Solution Architect team at Elastic, Inc. from the ground up until post-IPO and is now working on doing the same thing at Grafana Labs.
Stormy Peters began her journey into the world of open source in 2002 when she created and managed HP’s Open Source Program Office and ever since then she’s been high-flying in various open source ecosystems. She was the executive director and later a board member of the Gnome Foundation, a director of the Mozilla development network, she sat on the board of directors for the Software Freedom Conservancy, she was VP of Developer Relations for the Cloud Foundry Foundation, and she was Director of the Open Source Programs Office at Microsoft. Currently she is on the board of directors at the Linux Foundation and is Vice President of Communities at GitHub and she also runs a non-profit called Kids on Computers which is a charity she founded to set up computer labs in schools for kids with no access to technology.
Tanya Bragin is the VP of Product at ClickHouse, a very fast open source OLAP databases used by some of the biggest companies in the world. Tanya was hired to lead the effort to build a SaaS offering of ClickHouse, having previously served in similar roles as a VP of Product at Elastic.
Timo Jokiaho is Chief Technologist - Global Telco at Red Hat, focusing on network functions virtualisation (NFV) and containers going towards 5G. He works with service providers, network equipment providers, system integrators and independent software vendors to progress the NFV agenda in the industry. Special focus on disaggregated RAN (Radio Access Networks).
Previously Jokiaho led software technology planning in Huawei Technologies, focusing on the base platform domain (operating systems, virtualization, and telco cloud), and also planning for terminal software platform, including Android and some experimental technologies. Jokiaho also led Samsung’s device software R&D in Finland, and prior to this, he led the Strategy, Technology & Architecture section at Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks.
Tota Mukherjee is a Senior Customer Success Manager at Twilio and previously was the owner and CEO of the venture-backed company called Soldsie.
Will LaForest is the Field CTO @ Confluent, creators and maintainers of Apache Kafka. Before joining Confluent, Will held senior technical and sales positions at very successful companies like SPSS, Mark Logic, MongoDB, and Red Hat. He joins us to discuss his journey to the Field CTO position and why he sees an increasing need for that position in the software space. William Dinkel was the founder and CEO of Nova.ai, an innovative software company creating AI based tools for Salespeople. Nova.ai was acquired by Highspot, where will now leads Special Projects. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly and an MBA from Harvard.
